How This Approach Supports You
Wild Things Wellness helps you reconnect—with yourself, nature, and your sense of inner strength. Through experiential practices, you’ll build confidence, resilience, and a deeper awareness of what you need to heal and thrive. Play is an essential part of this process, allowing for creativity, self-expression, and joy. Whether through movement, exploration, or hands-on activities, play fosters a sense of freedom and helps rewire the nervous system for safety and connection, something that’s just as important for adults as it is for children.
Nature is a powerful co-creator in this process. Time outdoors reduces stress, improves mood, and supports overall well-being. Just as ecosystems restore themselves under the right conditions, your mind and body can heal when given the space and support to do so. Simple practices, like walking barefoot in nature with mindful attention, can help you feel more grounded, present, and whole.
Mindfulness is another essential tool, teaching you how to calm your mind and navigate stress with greater ease. In a fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or stuck in worry. Mindfulness helps you stay present, let go of what no longer serves you, and create space for healing. No matter your background or challenges, this approach is adaptable to your unique needs, helping you find balance, connection, and well-being.

Hi! I’m Shay Wilson and I can’t wait to meet you.
I specialize in nature-based and somatic therapies, guiding individuals back to their inner wisdom through experiential practices. With years of experience in wilderness therapy and experiential modalities, I’ve seen firsthand how nature, mindfulness, and movement can support deep healing and meaningful growth.
I’m a certified mindfulness facilitator and integrate evidence-based tools to help clients build presence, resilience, and self-trust. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity to heal, thrive, and reconnect with themselves.
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me painting or exploring the outdoors with my two dogs.
